# Quickstart: GitHub Copilot

Fold Trp-cage with ESMFold and download the structure.

## 1. Connect

```
// .vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "phi": { "type": "http", "url": "https://phi.dynotx.com/mcp" }
  }
}
```

In VS Code, open the Copilot chat and run the server; it asks you to sign in the first time: sign in with your Dyno account and choose the organization. Your client refreshes the token automatically.

### Without a browser

```
// .vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "phi": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://phi.dynotx.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ak_your_key" }
    }
  }
}
```

An agent, CI or a machine with no browser uses a key from the API keys tab. [Open your API keys](https://app.staging.dynophi.tantdylf.com/?keys=1)

## 2. Ask

```
Fold this sequence with Phi and save the structure: NLYIQWLKDGGPSSGRPPPS
```

Ask Copilot in agent mode, with Phi's tools on in the chat's tool picker. The fold usually comes back in about two minutes. The agent returns a time-limited structure URL and saves the file.

## 3. Install Phi's skills

```
npx skills add dynotx/phi-skills
```

This installs the skills for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex in the current project. Add -g to install them for every project on the machine. The CLI command phi skills install does the same.
